anika kuban is a vancouver-based multimedia artist currently attending emily carr university of art + design. as a major in new media & sound art with a minor in art & text, anika's work spans a wide range of mediums, including sculpture, media art, and writing. their sound compositions have been featured in the ongoing new media exhibit series "durations" run by omar khalil and rafael zen, hosted at massy arts gallery and ecu. anika has also performed as a dj at red gate, kw studios, grey lab, and the lighthouse in vancouver, as well as at despacito in burlington, vermont.
currently, anika is working with syd mercredi under "palomino," a multimedia artist collective.
