Anika Kuban b. 2004

Anika Kuban is a Vancouver-based multimedia artist whose work focuses primarily on re-creation and simulation. As a new media & sound art major at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, they work with many different mediums from sound to sculpture to electronics, as well as building patches for Max/MSP/Jitter. Anika's work has been featured in the ongoing new media exhibit series "Durations" run by Khalil Alomar and Rafael Zen, which has been hosted at Massy Arts Gallery and Emily Carr University of Art + Design. They also DJ under the name @everyone, and run a show on Radio Emily called “trail cam.”
Anika is also a writer, working mainly with poetry and found text. Their writing has been published online in Ranger Magazine.
